This week’s Illustration Friday topic was Space. I have this series of planet and solar system illustrations. I guess that meant that I had to pick one illustration from the group. I have to say their was a strong urge to have Uranus with the caption, “This is a picture of Uranus”. But, I resisted and went with Pluto. Pluto got left out of the planet picture, so I figured he needed to be picked for something. Plus, nobody wants to pick Uranus. Boom! I’ll be here all week.

Poor old Pluto, getting kicked out of the planets for being too little and far away, and also for having too many friends. I reckon these characters would make for a nice series of kids’ books!
Heh heh. You said “Uranus.” Ummm…yeah. Poor Pluto! What’s with the whole revoking planetship thing? How does that happen after Pluto had been a card-carrying member for all those years? That was probably carried out by the same guy who decided to make a law about kids wearing bicycle helmets…
